Features for VC6
Column Indicator
Common to text editors in other IDEs, the column indicator in Visual Assist X tells you when you have reached your desired line length.
See the indicator at the trailing edge of the column you specify. You pick the color.
This feature is available for all languages.
Proportional Fonts
Column indicators are available when using proporational fonts. Location of indicator is determined by measuring multiple widths of the letter m. If you want an indicator at three inches from the left margin and there are ten m characters per inch in your font, specify the indicator be placed after column 30.

Enable the column indicator and specify a column in the options dialog.
