Visual Assist does not offer indenting and formatting options beyond those of the IDE. When a feature of Visual Assist offers to format code, e.g. Format after Paste, Visual Assist lets the IDE format according to settings in the IDE options dialog.
Consider third-party extensions or external programs if you require formatting beyond the options of your IDE, e.g. GC GreatCode, Uncrustify, and StyleManager.
